How do I create an account with eprintAgent.com?
Click the “Sign Up” button located a the top of the page. Fill out the Registration Form completely and click the Register button. Once your registration has been successfully submitted you'll be taken to you Account page where you can update your details, check your orders and order products.
How do I place an order?
Login to eprintAgent.com. Select the product you would like to order such as Business Cards or Postcards. With each product there are three choices availabe before you place an order. You can select a template and add in your information, design your own template online or upload a design you have create elsewhere. Once you have completed one of these three choices, simply select the Next button and follow the ordering steps to complete your order.
Which currency are your product's prices?
The prices listed for all our products (taxes and shipping are extra) are in Canadian Dollars.
What printing process do you use?
Your projects are printed on our state-of-the-art offset and or digital offset (ink) printing presses.
How long will my job take to be printed?
Our turn around time is 2 to 3 business days for printing for most jobs. Other products such as magnets and plastic will take 4 to 5 business days. The time needed to ship your product depends on the shipping method chosen and your delivery location.
How are my jobs shipped to me?
All our jobs are shipped to you by FedEx. The type of shipping you select and your location will determine how long it will take to ship your job to you.
How do I need to prepare my files?
The list below is a quick overview of the settings required for each job. Setting up your project with these settings will avoid any delays in printing your project.
1) 0.125" total bleed is needed around all 4 sides of your artwork. 0.0625" for each side is required.
2) All images must be in CMYK color mode and the resolution should be set to 300 dpi.
3) Embed or outline all fonts.
4) Embed all images.
5) Multiple page projects, such as booklets and brochures, should be combined into a single PDF file with many pages. For example a two sided flyer is a two page PDF.
6) Multiple pages should be Head to Head.
7) When creating a PDF from your artwork please select 'Print Quality' to create a Hi-Res PDF of your file.
8) Make sure overprint is turned off in your file settings.
What is head to head in multi-page documents?
The first and second page of a multi-page document should be oriented in the same direction.
What types of file formats do you accept?
We strongly recommend that you create high resolution PDF files from your artwork and upload only the PDF file with everything such as images, fonts and pages included in the PDF. When creating your PDF file be sure to select 'Print Quality' in order to create a Hi-Res PDF file.
What is overprint, and how can it ruin my file?
Overprinting refers to the process of printing one colour on top of another. If you do not want this to happen make sure that the overprint option is turned off in your document.
Will I receive an order confirmation email after I place an order?
You will receive an order confirmation e-mail containing your job and order number. Please use these numbers when inquiring about your order.
How to combine two or more PDF files to create a multi-page PDF?
In Adobe Acrobat choose 'Combine' from File Menu and then select 'Merge Files into a Single PDF...' The Combine File window will appear. Simply drag and drop the files you would like to combine, organize them in the right sequence and click the Combine Files button below. Adobe Acrobat will combine the file and then display the Save File dilog box in order for you to save your new file.
How to convert your fonts to outlines in Adobe InDesign and Adobe Illustrator?
Creating outlines of the fonts in your document negates the need to include the font files with your order. It's easy to create outlines of your fonts. Simply select all the fonts you wish to convert to outlines. From the Type Menu select Create Outlines. All your fonts will be converted to outlines. That's it. Once you have converted the fonts to outlines you will not be able to edit the text. Make sure you save your file as a new file in case any changes need to be made to your oringinal file.
PDFs created by filling out PDF Form (with Data fields)?
Please note that if your PDF was created by typing into form fields on a PDF file and saved; we cannot work with these types of PDFs created in this fashion. The data you entered will NOT appear on the final printed job even though it may appear on the PDF itself. Please FLATTEN your artwork (or email the form field PDF to us BEFORE upload it to our website so we can flatten the artwork to ensure your data layers print intact.
